What does AnyTown mean to you?

“Anytown is people. Anytown was about breaking through my scariest barrier: me. It was about being true to myself, getting rid of masks. It was about discovering myself. It was about accepting me. I was about empowering me. Anytown was finding a true family. I got to know amazing people that I am very fond of and constantly look up to. They are heroes to me. I know I’m not alone even in those dark nights when I can’t even see myself.Anytown was learning to do the things the hard way. It was daring to ask for help. Anytown was aging wise with a child’s heart. Anytown was becoming mature. It was growing. It was living. Itwas getting to know the bumps of the road. It was hugs, songs, tears, and laughs. Anytown is hope.”

“Anytown was one of my most memorable experiences during high school and my whole lifetime. Per hour, per day, and per event, I learned more at Anytown about diversity, religion and mankind that any class could have taught me during a semester or two. I’m very grateful for the wonderful influence that Anytown had on my life and many years later, my own children can benefit from this experience too.”
